Students from Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen and other colleges and universities frequently conduct research on Ameland. The Wadden Campus Ameland facilitates them in this.
Various studies
- In 2019, students conducted research into, among other things, making the tourism sector more sustainable possibilities of an offshore wind turbine north of Ameland.
- In 2020, research was conducted into, among other things, the realization of a small joint heat supply and sustainability of monuments and protected village views.
- In 2021, students conducted research into, for example, socializing the costs of a decentralized energy system; water saving and energy storage techniques.
- In 2022, students will conduct research into, among other things, the willingness to insulate homes various target groups and the impact of the RES Friesland.
