Ameland has joined the program to closely monitor the knowledge being developed for Mallorca. There are also plans on Ameland for the production and use of hydrogen as a storage of sustainable energy. In addition to Ameland, other islands are also connected, such as Tenerife, Madeira, some Greek islands, Aran (Ireland) and Chilo (Chile).
