Green Hysland workshop Vlieland

On Thursday, October 5, 2023, a Green Hysland workshop took place on Vlieland. The aim of the workshop was to share theoretical insight and practical tips about the use of green hydrogen. During the meeting, several examples of ‘hydrogen valleys’ developed in various European countries were shared. Ameland is one of the partners in the program.

About Green Hysland

Green Hysland is about the development of hydrogen technology on the island of Mallorca and a number of ‘fellow islands’, including Ameland. Ameland has joined the program to closely monitor the knowledge being developed for Mallorca. There are also plans on Ameland for the production and use of hydrogen as a storage of sustainable energy. In addition to Ameland, other islands are also connected, such as Tenerife, Madeira, some Greek islands, Aran (Ireland) and Chiloé (Chile).
