Brochure Ameland smartly heated

Islanders will receive the ‘Ameland smartly heated’ brochure in the week of October 23, 2023. The fold-out brochure describes the process for achieving sustainable heat for Ameland, who decides on this, what the role of the municipality is and, above all, what residents of Ameland can do themselves to start the path to natural gas-free.

Attention to natural gas-free

The brochure is one of the ways in which the municipality of Ameland draws attention to the switch to natural gas-free heating. A step that Ameland wants to take by 2035 together with residents, entrepreneurs and other parties.

Village conversations

Previously, village discussions took place in four villages on Ameland about the road to a natural gas-free island.
