Borrow money cheaply to adapt or make your home more sustainable

Do you want to make your home more sustainable? Or do you want to adapt your home so that you can live in your home longer? Both maybe? It is possible to apply for a loan from the municipality for this.

Last year, the municipal council made a loan available that makes it possible for Amelanders to adapt and/or make their own home more sustainable with a cheap loan. This scheme is implemented by SVn Stimuleringsfonds Volkshuisvesting.

Owner-occupiers of permanently occupied homes on Ameland are eligible for this. The Incentive Loan is a type of loan with a low interest rate and therefore low monthly costs. The Redemption Grant is intended for seniors who have some equity in their home. More information can be found on the SVn site.
